The Series PR55 Tacky, made in the USA, is an eonomical choice for crossdraft booths. The Series PR55 is made from two media pads. A metal support is dielectrically heat sealed in between the two medias providing support and rigidity. The first media layer is designed to catch large particles entering the booth. The second layer is designed to catch the smaller particles. The downstream side of the second layer is is treated with a non-toxic, non-migratory adhesive which holds trapped particles inside the filter. An internal wire frame shall be thermally sealed within the filter to maintain integrity. A thermal seal shall extend around the filter's perimeter and on both sides of the center wire strut, ensuring the permanent bond of all media plies. There shall be sufficient media overlap to ensure a positive seal between the filter and the holding frame, eliminating the possibility of air bypass and the need for supplemental gasketing.
